In celebration of Pride month, I am sharing one of my favorite in home couple’s sessions with Ellie and Sophie (and their rabbit Nugget!). Scroll down to see the rainbow coming through their bedroom window which was just perfect. These kinds of sessions make me so happy because what better spot for couples to relax and get cozy with each than their own space surrounded by their plants, pets, and nicknacks? Ellie and Sophie’s home is filled with beautiful handmade pottery, art, and a little Nugget house. I couldn’t love these two humans more. They are some of my favorite people on the face of this earth and I was so honored to have gotten to take these photos of their perfect little family.
Ashleigh and Taylor traveled all the way to Colorado to elope at Lookout Mountain, and even exchanged their vows at the same spot where we took our sunset photos. It’s no secret that Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado is one of my absolute favorite spots for photo sessions, hands down. I’m a sucker for some mountainous views. We couldn’t have gotten any more lucky with the beautiful weather - a break from the mid-May snowstorms - and invigorating fresh air. A big congratulations to these two on their marriage, a beautiful life together, and plenty more adventures to come (hopefully to Colorado again!)
Madi, Hayden, and their dog Cash filled me up with all of the smiles and laughter during their engagement session at Lookout Mountain Park in Golden, Colorado. This is one of my absolute favorite spots to bring couples and watch them take in the incredible mountainous views together. There is something about being in the midst of awe-inspiring nature that makes you feel ALL of the feelings (good ones of course). Add a couple as sweet and fun as Madi and Hayden into the mix and we have a recipe for the perfect engagement session!
From the minute Sierra and Zach told me their idea for their engagement session, I knew they were the coolest people ever. They wanted to go to all of their favorite bars in downtown Phoenix, get drinks, and take their engagement photos along the way (without getting kicked out - which we somehow pulled off). After a successful evening of fancy cocktails, giant burritos, and them saying yes to literally any photo idea, I was so thankful to have gotten to hang out with such down to earth people who truly just love the heck out of each other.
Sierra and Zach’s wedding was a celebration full of the same kind of fun-loving, silly, and beautifully heartfelt energy. Nestled in the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona, they exchanged vows and danced the night away under cacti and a shower of rose petals. These two compliment each other so perfectly that I am 100% convinced they were made for each other. Congratulations to Sierra and Zach and THANK YOU for letting me get to know you two incredible humans. It was really hard to choose, but here are some of my favorite photos to summarize their day…
I have received a few messages asking if I photograph LGBTQ+ weddings. It should go without saying that the answer is YES, I photograph all people who are in love and I am here to celebrate your story right along with you. I am a firm believer that adoration between human beings is an absolutely wonderful thing.
Allicyn and Cherish made my heart so full and had me in tears multiple times during this day. Their affection for each other is so effortless, which you can see in their constant smiles and playfulness with each other. Thank you beautiful ladies for letting be a part of your special day.
I am still obsessing over how perfect this engagement session was with Christina and Eli. This was the perfect opportunity for me to get to know them better before their wedding and see how beautifully they interact with each other first hand. I knew right away we would have no problem creating naturally dreamy photos together. Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado provided a stunning backdrop for these two wonderful in love humans.
