I don’t see my clients as just clients. I want to know your story, how you met, what makes you laugh, what makes you uncomfortable, and all that good stuff. I can’t help but feel connected and like a friend to the people I photograph after being with them during some of life’s most special moments. I always recommend a consultation before your wedding day (usually on Zoom on the phone). Your engagement session is also the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other and to help you get comfortable in front of the camera.

I’m here to solve any unpredictable challenges that may arise, and to tackle anything life throws at us. This includes adapting to any venue or spot in nature, helping everyone at the wedding stick to the timeline, wrangling family members for photos, or shooting in the rain/snow. I will help you construct the perfect timeline from start to finish and give estimates on how long each portion of the day usually takes to make things run as smoothly as possible.

I highly recommend a second photographer for weddings larger than 50 guests. I hire a trusted and talented second photographer ($75 per hour) to cover extra details and events happening while I am busy taking other photos. For example, if I am taking family photos during cocktail hour, a second shooter would be capturing the guests enjoying the food and drinks. Or if one of you is getting ready at a location separate from your partner, a second photographer allows us to capture both of you simultaneously.

At this point in my career, I have photographed thousands of human beings. I consider myself a professional in guiding clients on how to position themselves. I utilize prompts to evoke genuine laughter and emotion so photos never appear stiff, unnatural, or uncomfortable. By the end of your session, you probably won’t even realize we’ve been taking photos, and those are the best kinds of photos.

No problem. The entire day is reserved for you. Additional photography coverage can be added on for $400 per hour for weddings, and $300 per hour for elopements.

I have shot hundreds of weddings, elopements, engagements, and portrait sessions. I promise you that any lighting condition, crowded room, weather situation, clothing mishap, etc. will be handled by me without any stress to you. I also carry backups of all of my gear, cameras, and batteries. My priority is you knowing that you are taken care of and there is nothing I can’t handle during your day.

You will receive a shareable online gallery of your edited images within 4-16 weeks from the wedding date (this varies depending on the time of year!) In general, I deliver approximately 50-100 photos per hour of shooting. If an image is something of importance, I will include it! Unedited photos will not be released simply because they are not the finished product, but rather ingredients to make the final recipe. Galleries include everything that makes up your day: all of the wedding details, decorations, traditions, ceremonies, candid guest interactions, and couple/family/wedding party portraits. Don’t worry about making a shot list - I will be photographing nonstop from the moment I get there until I leave, so I promise nothing will be missed! Your gallery will tell a beautiful story of how your day or engagement unfolded that you can relive with your family for the rest of your lives.
