My husband and I were so excited when we found Madeleine to shoot our summer wedding! Madeleine traveled from Colorado to Northern Arizona to capture our big day! We were so pleased by our experience with her! She is so friendly and personable, it’s like we had known her forever. Madeleine worked with our videographer so well and they worked together to capture the best moments and the emotions from the day! I can not say enough good things about the photos we received! Not long after receiving our photos, our dog ate the usb...my mom had contacted Madeleine and she was so kind to let my mom order us another surprise one and sent it to us with the kindest note! Where to even begin. HIRE MADO! If you are looking for a cool, hip, down-to-earth photographer who will not only make you feel insanely comfortable in her presence but also make you want to be her best friend... Mado is for you. It was important for my partner and I to find someone in the LGBTQ+ community to photograph our engagement and wedding because we realize there are many unique moments for a queer wedding. But even if that hadn't have been the case, I strongly believe we still would have chosen Mado.
Her pictures are crisp and clean. I love the way she incorporates natural surroundings into the photo to help capture our personality (city-dwelling plant lovers). We love how her black and white photos have the perfect amount of contrast and the color photos have the perfect warmth and coloring.
My partner isn't keen on being photographed, but you never would have guessed that from these photos. Mado helped bring out our natural laughs, personal stories, and made sure we felt comfortable and safe 100% of the time. As we walked the streets of Denver together for our engagement pictures, we got to know each other better and promised that we would grab dinner together next time we were in town.
I feel completely confident and overwhelmingly excited about having her shoot our upcoming wedding and I'd choose her all over again if I could. Highly Highly Highly recommend!
