the boudoir experience

the process

01. Reach out for a consultation! I’d love to learn what you what out of your boudoir photos, what makes you feel comfortable with a photographer, and what makes you feel the most beautiful. My #1 priority is your comfortability and making you feel absolutely fabulous in your photos. I offer plenty of guidance on what to do with your body and how to pose in the most flattering ways.

02. Select a date! I am booking boudoir sessions starting November 2022 through April 2023.

03. Select a location. Sessions may be scheduled at home, or in a studio. Check out the studio recommendations below!

04. Select an outfit/outfits. I recommend reading this helpful styling article to know what to look for!

05. Add other vendors to your team - for example, a florist or makeup artist. I have vendor recommendations here.

06. The day of your session, make sure to treat yourself and focus the day on YOU if possible. Maybe that’s grabbing your favorite smoothie while listening to uplifting music, passing off the kids to a babysitter, or having a mimosa beforehand. I want you to be able to get into a “selfish” (in a good way) mindset where the only focus is getting in touch with your body and inner radiance.

sessions start at $725 + studio rental fee

your photographer experience

Boudoir can be a very vulnerable experience. I completely understand how one might come into a session feeling nervous to reveal parts of themselves that they don’t often show to others. I am a huge believer in emphasizing comfort throughout the entire session and easing into photos. We can start out with easier poses and portraits of your face while bumping your favorite songs, and then move into the spicier poses as you warm up to the camera. You may reveal as much or as little as you want, and veto any poses that don’t feel authentic to you.

I have been photographing portraits of humans for half of my life and believe I have a unique talent for helping people feel truly safe while celebrating their bodies. I also understand that relationships with our bodies can be complicated and nuanced. I want to know about the things you might struggle to love and if you are open to capturing them in a beautiful way. Communication and consent of what will be photographed is of the utmost importance.

Fun Fact: One of my first professional photo sessions was actually a boudoir session for my dad’s coworker when I was in highschool, 14 years ago.

my goal is to help you feel empowered. & when you see your photos, you see the magical vessel that carries you through the world.

I want these photos to add self love to your existence.
